    Test calcium and alkalinity before use and adjust to desired levels using calcium and alkalinity supplements if needed.

    Mix AquaReady Kalkwasser with RO/DI or distilled water based on system demand:

    Low demand: 0.5 tsp per gallon
    Medium demand: 1 tsp per gallon
    High demand: up to 1.5 tsp per gallon

    Mix thoroughly and allow solution to fully dissolve before utilizing

    Slowly dose the solution via ATO, kalkwasser reactor, or drip system.

How Does This Work?

When mixed with RO/DI water, AquaReady Kalkwasser creates a solution containing balanced calcium and alkalinity ions. As it is slowly added to the aquarium, the calcium supports coral skeletal growth while the hydroxide reacts with carbon dioxide in the water to form bicarbonate, increasing available alkalinity. This reaction also helps raise and stabilize pH, making kalkwasser an efficient way to support coral growth while improving overall water chemistry.
